St. Margaret's Episcopal - Trinity Sunday

WEEKLY REFLECTION | Trinity Sunday, June 4, 2023

In this Reflection Letter, Mo. Laura talks about the recent celebration of Pentecost and introduces the upcoming holiday of Trinity Sunday, which is considered mysterious and challenging to comprehend. She humorously suggests that even experienced preachers struggle to explain the concept adequately. We invite you to attend the upcoming service on Sunday to witness an attempt at tackling the topic.

Trinity Episcopal Retreat Center

WEEKLY REFLECTION | Seventh Sunday of Easter, May 21, 2023

Last week, I returned from a week-long Credo conference at the Trinity Retreat Center in Pine Knolls, North Carolina.  What a wonderful place!!! Workers are digging, raking, smoothing, driving, measuring, pounding. It is a VERY busy day here at St. Margaret’s. And a very noisy one!

Abraham on the Plains of Mamre, by Grant Romney Clawson.

WEEKLY REFLECTION | Second Sunday in Lent, March 5, 2023

For me, Lent is about change and obedience. As we journey through Lent, consider if God might be calling us to some kind of change. Maybe something small that only you would notice. A very helpful question to ask the Holy One in prayer is, “What is the next good thing you would like me to do?” Then, be sure you listen for a few moments for God’s guidance.
