A huge “shout-out” to our faithful parishioner, Diana Marshall, for having the brainstorm of hosting a Pampered Chef Virtual Party Fundraiser to benefit St. Margaret’s Church! She co-hosted the Facebook event with her daughter, Hillary Sullivan, who lives in Connecticut, whom many of you know from her visits to St. M’s when she’s in town with her family.
This virtual event was not only a very successful fundraiser, but also added to building community, greater exposure on Facebook, and lots of fun for all who participated! The live demonstrations were GREAT!
Thank you, again and again, to “The Mother-Daughter Team Extraordinaire, Diana and Hillary”!

“As the global pandemic has prevented us from gathering for worship, we also have been unable to hold our annual Yard Sale and the recently instituted Basket social. Not to be deterred, the St. Margaret’s community gathered on Facebook for a virtual Pampered Chef Party to benefit the parish.
Along with Friends and Friends of Friends, we chatted, got to know each other, played games, enjoyed LIVE presentations and browsed the catalogue. The Host thanked the participants personally in the live session and encouraged all to learn more about St. Margaret’s on our Facebook Page and Website.
When orders were finalized, we had raised $482.30 with a well-wisher rounding that up to $500.00! In our usual St. Margaret’s style, $100.00 will be donated to the Emmaus Ecumenical Food Bank called “Groceries Plus”.
~ Thank you, Diana Marshall
