St. Margaret's Episcopal Church Steeple

WEEKLY REFLECTION I March 2, 2025 – Last Sunday of Epiphany

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

ARE YOU READY????!!!!! The wheel of the liturgical year is about to change, not to mention the wheel of the seasons. It will be in the 50’s today, after the teens last week. And several people have seen robins—admittedly kind of scruffy after the winter, but red-breasts nevertheless!

Coming up is the Last Sunday After Epiphany. It’s always seemed to me like a day with a foot in two worlds: saying farewell to our joyous ALLELUIAS!!!!! And, at the same time, pondering the amazing glory of the Transfiguration. Sort of a last day of rejoicing to get us through the solemnity of Lent. Please ponder this change, which each year comes with surprising swiftness, and how it affects your spiritual life. Service information below.

Blessings,
Mo. Laura
