Alleluia

WEEKLY REFLECTION I April 20, 2025 – Easter Sunday

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Can there be anything more joyful than the Feast of the Resurrection???? So much so that we will be celebrating with great glee for 50 days. When I was little, I used to wonder why Christmas wasn’t the most important day of the year, because without Christmas, there would be no Easter. After all, Jesus had to be born, so that he could die. Later, I figured out that everyone dies sooner or later. But only ONE had been resurrected. Still later, I understood that we’re all born, and our birthdays are days to celebrate. But we haven’t yet been resurrected, so our Easter celebrations are not only about celebrating the resurrection of our beloved savior Jesus, they are also celebrations of what is still to come for those we love who have died and anticipations of OUR resurrection!

So lots of reasons to ring those bells (don’t forget to bring them!), sing those joyful hymns and shout over and over

Alleluia ALLELUIA Alleluia alleluia ALLELUIA ALLELUIA
ALLELUIA alleluia alleluia Alleluia Alleluia Alleluia
alleluia alleluia ALLELUIA

9:00 a.m., Sunday morning! Easter
Egg Hunt follows.

JOY!
