March 15 – March 22, 2020

Updated March 13, 2020

Dear St. Margaret’s Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you to let you know the latest directive from Diocesan House concerning the Covid-19 outbreak.
At the direction of Bp.Kevin, all operations, including worship, will cease until March 30th (after that, there will be a reassessment).
Therefore, St. Margaret’s will be closed beginning this weekend:  so, NO SERVICES  March 15, March 22 and March 29.
I’m in the process of communicating this as well as possible.  If you know of anyone who may not be linked with media, and may need a phone call, please do call them.
Stay tuned for ways in which we may remain faithful community even if for a time only virtually……
Let us not fear. The Spirit of the Lord is with us,
Jane+

Please note: We are practicing an abundance of caution, in compliance with the Diocesan Guidelines, to keep folk as safe from Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as we can. The COVID-19 Guidelines will be in an insert in Sunday’s Bulletin, but here is the short version: There will be bread only at communion, no wine other than the Celebrant for the time being; we will not be “passing the peace” during the service, trying to avoid any unnecessary touching. You are encouraged to nod, bow (Namaste) in place of hugs or handshakes.
