Basket Social

Join us for fun and fundraising at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church’s Basket Social! Our event is the perfect opportunity to come together as a community and support our church’s mission and ministry while having a blast.

    • Friday, November 3rd, 4 PM – 8 PM
    • Saturday, November 4th, 10 AM – 3 PM

We have a fantastic selection of baskets available, filled with all kinds of goodies and prizes. From gourmet food and wine baskets to sports and outdoor packages, there’s something for everyone.

Not only will you have the chance to win some amazing prizes, but you’ll also be making a difference in the lives of others by supporting our church’s work in the community.

  • $30 for 5 sheets (25 tickets per sheet)
  • Ticket sales are available at the door on event days

Donations Needed

As one of St. Margaret’s largest fundraisers, our success relies heavily on contributions from others.

Help is needed to ask for donations from businesses—ask your hairdresser, barber, favorite bakery, masseuse, nail tech, restaurants etc. We will accept gift cards, donations of baskets, or items to make baskets. You may give the donors this letter: Donor Request Letter

Sign Up

Follow the link below and fill out the sign-up sheet. Best-selling baskets have been liquor baskets, lottery ticket baskets, holiday theme baskets, and children’s baskets. (Duplicates of those are okay. See sign-up sheet.)

  • Select 2 or more baskets you would be willing to make for the social and write your name on the line.
  • Please, make a list of the items in your basket on an index card and attach it to the basket.
  • Please hold on to all baskets and/or items for donations till a later date in the fall.
  • If you are unable to make baskets yourself, we will accept donated items to make baskets in the parish hall at a later time.

  • Oct. 1: Orders for gift cards are due for those wishing to donate gift cards.
  • Oct. 22: Baskets and items delivered to the church by this date.
  • Oct. 22: Beginning this week, making baskets in parish hall TBD.
  • Oct. 23: Begin set up in parish hall.
  • Nov.2: Cutting and bagging baked goods for bake sale TBA.
  • Nov. 2: Final setup
  • Nov. 3: Volunteers for bake sale and raffle
  • Nov. 4: Volunteers for bake sale and raffle
  • Nov. 4: Break down and clean up after 3 p.m.
  • Nov. 4: Email/call winners.
